Long before Acne Paper there was Comme des Garçons’ SIX – as in sixth sense. The short-lived publication (printed by the brand from 1988 to 1991), was a large format biannual that had no equal; contributors included Steven Meisel, Azzedine Alaïa, Arthur Elgort, Issey Miyake, Robert Frank, and Peter Lindbergh to name a few.
